LAWFUEL – Reports from the UK indicate that an arrest may be made in Britain in the coming days in the Madeleine McCann case.
Madeleine McCann went missing over three months ago in Portugal, where she was either snatched from her family’s holiday apartment or, reports from police sources have indicated, may have been killed and removed from the apartment.
The recent report indicate the investigation has reached a “decisive phase”
The suspect has reportedly been under surveillance for weeks and would be extradited to Portugal for questioning.
The development comes after DNA tests on vehicles in Praia da Luz, including those driven by the McCann family, their friends and the only official suspect, Robert Murat.
British detectives have been working with sniffer dogs in the resort, where four-year-old Madeleine, whose mother Kate is from Liverpool, went missing 15 weeks ago.
