LAWFUEL – Legal & Political Announcements – Republican presidential campaigner Ron Paul presented an advertisement to air in Iowa and New Hampshire where he turns the spotlight on to healthcare issues.
“I say we need Ron Paul for president,” the narrator says. “One, he’s a doctor, he’s seen it all. Two, he’s got the right idea, take the power from big business and the bureaucrats and give it back to the patients and the doctors they choose. Now that’s the right medicine.”
The advertisement further develops Ron Paul’s libertarian ideals on issues like healthcare. His campaign website sees Dr Paul advocate a health savings account and plans to have more people covered for healthcare by tying insurance to the individual instead of the job and giving tax breaks to the worker instead of the company so that workers don’t lose their insurance when they change or lose a job.
