“Santa Ana” is currently home to 160 children. The orphanage was established in 2003 and consists of 15 houses, a primary school and a secondary school. Besides providing a permanent home, the goal of the Children’s Village is to provide children with schooling and to prepare them for an independent life. A further 17 family houses are planned to be built in the next few years, with a capacity to house up to 500 children.
