Patterson Belknap, Webb & Tyler LLP announced today that the Firm has created an Appellate Practice Group. The new practice group will combine Patterson’s nationally renowned reputation for trial representation involving advertising, patents, copyrights, trademarks, product liability and media law with the appellate expertise of litigators who have successfully argued numerous landmark appeals in these areas.
While Patterson Belknap is forming its Appellate Practice Group in order to service companies who need appellate counsel in the Firm’s areas of expertise, the Firm has a long history of success in appeals in the Federal courts as well as in the New York appellate courts. Over the past decade, its lawyers have argued over 200 appeals, including appeals in each of the federal circuit courts and over 60 in its “home” circuit, the Second Circuit in New York City.
Members of the appellate practice group will include the following Patterson Belknap partners: Paul G. Gardephe, Eugene M. Gelernter, Kim J. Landsman, Robert P. LoBue, Thomas C. Morrison, Gloria C. Phares and John D. Winter.
