The death of the billable hour is something we have talked about and reported for – what seems – years. But now, according to a recently viewed billboard in San Francisco, the end is indeed here for the age-old billable hour.
But it is also a clever ‘seizing the moment’ move by an AI law firm, Crosby AI, the New York-based startup classing itself as a ‘neo firm’. A good marketing move and certainly one that is trumpeting something that many proclaim as already having arrived with the advent of AI.
