Lawfuel- SJ Berwin’s Commercial Litigation department is pleased to announce two partner promotions – Shaistah Akhtar and Nick Brocklesby.
Shaistah represents a broad range of clients, from hedge funds and investment banks, to companies in the IT and property sectors, as well as high net worth individuals. Shaistah has also established a strong and growing practice of clients in the emerging markets, particularly Pakistan and the Middle East. Shaistah brings the number of female partners in the department to three.
Nick’s practice covers a wide range of commercial and company work, encompassing complex commercial litigation and financial services and regulatory disputes. He has acted for and advised various international companies, investment banks and fund managers in such matters and is a key player in our Financial Markets Dispute Resolution Group.
This brings the total number of partners in the Litigation department to 18.
