New Zealand-founded legal AI company Ivo has secured a major American sports partnership, becoming the exclusive legal AI partner of the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers, NHL’s New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.
The multi-year agreement with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE) will see Ivo’s contract intelligence technology used by the organisation’s in-house legal team for contract drafting, negotiations and legal research.
Legal AI companies are moving beyond selling software to law firms and corporate counsel, buying mainstream sporting visibility, a marketing strategy more commonly associated with banks, insurers and consumer brands.

Co-founded in Auckland by former Bell Gully (NZ) lawyer Min Kyu-Jung (left) and now headquartered in San Francisco, Ivo is extending its international reach. Earlier this year, the company partnered with New Zealand Football, becoming the All Whites’ official legal AI partner.
The latest deal also delivers considerable brand exposure, with Ivo sponsoring official video reviews during basketball and hockey games.
For Ivo, the deal combines genuine legal technology deployment with an ambitious push into America’s lucrative sports market.
Additional authoritative background: Bloomberg Law’s reporting on HBSE’s expanding in-house legal operations provides useful context for the legal department adopting Ivo’s technology.
The partnership details are independently confirmed in HBSE’s official November 4 announcement.

Ivo Partners with HBSE (Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, & Prudential Center)
Ivo has signed a multi-year partnership with Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment (HBSE), becoming the Official and Exclusive Legal AI Partner of the Philadelphia 76ers, New Jersey Devils, and Prudential Center.
The agreement is Ivo’s first sports partnership in North America. Founded in New Zealand and headquartered in San Francisco, Ivo works with organizations around the world, and the partnership brings the Ivo brand to fans across Greater Philadelphia and New Jersey.
“Partnering with HBSE gives Ivo an incredible opportunity to enter North American sports alongside an organization with iconic teams, passionate fan bases and a strong commitment to its communities,” said Min-Kyu Jung, Co-Founder and CEO of Ivo. “The connection between Ivo and in-game reviews creates a natural way to introduce our brand to fans, while the breadth of the partnership allows us to build relationships and make an impact beyond game day. We’re excited for what we can build together across the 76ers, Devils and Prudential Center.”
What the partnership looks like
Ivo will be the presenting partner of Official Reviews at 76ers and Devils home games, with branding appearing at key review moments on the court and the ice. Ivo’s presence will also extend across both teams through in-arena and broadcast-visible branding throughout the season.
HBSE’s legal department will also use Ivo to support contract drafting and negotiation, as well as legal research.
“At HBSE, we’re always looking for innovative partners that can bring meaningful value to our organization,” said Owen Morin, Chief Revenue Officer, Partnerships, Harris Blitzer Sports & Entertainment. “Ivo is at the forefront of applying AI to real business needs, and we’re excited to utilize their technology while bringing the partnership to life in creative ways across our teams and venues.”
Ivo looks forward to working with HBSE across the 76ers, the Devils and Prudential Center.
