Amsterdam – LAWFUEL – Law Firm Newswire – DLA Piper today announces that insurance litigation lawyers Gerard Endedijk and Nadia Haase have been appointed to its Dutch Litigation and Regulatory practice, respectively as partner and senior associate. Both join on 2 June from Dutch law firm Kennedy Van der Laan Advocaten.
Gerard has over 17 years’ experience in insurance litigation, first with Goudsmit & Branbergen. In 2000 Gerard joined Kennedy Van der Laan Advocaten where successfully developed the firm’s insurance and liability, as well as the litigation practice groups. His practice mainly focuses on insurance companies, banks and public institutions. Gerard lectures on personal injury at the Grotius Academie and civil procedure at the Dutch bar association, where he also acts as a reporter to the disciplinary council. In addition, he is the investigator at the business chamber of the Amsterdam court of appeal.
Nadia has practised insurance law for 10 years and specialises in insurance and liability law. She is particularly experienced advising on disputes related to material and technical damages, personal injury, cable and lead damages, as well as contract law relating to these areas.
