Legal Announcements – Holland & Knight Adds Ronald S. Perlman to Its Government Contracts Practice

Perlman has joined the firm's Washington, D.C. office as a Partner in the national Government Contracts Practice Group. "Ron has comprehensive knowledge of government contracts and extensive experience before various key agencies of the government. He will help the firm expand its practice for government contractors in areas such as manufacturing, small business, and mergers and acquisitions, among others." Perlman focuses his practice on federal government contract law matters and has represented both large and small companies from various industries including manufacturing, environmental and construction, in contract negotiations, claims, disputes and protests. He has experience at the United States Court of Federal Claims, the Government Accountability Office and various boards and courts. His practice of government contract counseling and litigation work includes experience with many federal agencies, including the Department of Defense (Air Force, Army, Marines, Coast Guard and Navy), Departments of Commerce, Energy, Transportation, Labor, Justice, Housing and Urban Development, Veterans Affairs, Federal Aviation Association, Social Security Administration, National Aeronautics and Space Administration, Small Business Administration and the U.S. Postal Service. Perlman has taught programs on government contract issues for various universities, the Air Force, NASA and the Central Intelligence Agency, among others. In addition, he has written several articles on federal contract law with articles published in federal publications and National Contract Management magazine.
