1 June 2004 – LAWFUEL – International law firm Holman Fenwick & Willan is pleased to announce, with effect from 1 May 2004, the election of two new Partners – Jonathan Campbell and Elinor Dautlich, both based in London.
Jonathan joined the Corporate Department of Holman Fenwick & Willan in July, 2001. He has extensive experience of non-contentious shipping matters acting for both owners and banks on a wide range of transactions including syndicated loans, finance leases and ship sale and purchase. His practice also includes general commercial and corporate work including venture capital, sale and purchase of companies and management buy-outs.
Elinor practises in corporate and commercial law and asset finance. She has wide experience of commercial shipping matters and specialist interests in shipbuilding and yachts.
The firm is also happy to recognise the contribution over many years of Alan Walls who has retired from the Partnership. Alan joined the firm in 1975 and has acted in several major public enquiries including the “Marchioness” disaster. He will remain at the firm as a Consultant.
As a result of Alan Walls’ retirement, Paul Dean has become the head of the firm’s Personal Injury department. Paul, a Partner since 2000, has extensive experience of litigation, specialising broadly in personal injury, charterparty and bill of lading disputes, salvage and towage, collisions and limitation and marine insurance.
