Adams and Reese’s Regional Footprint Allows for Continuous Operation

(Houston, TX) (LAWFUEL) – Adams and Reese is pleased to report that our Houston office, located downtown in One Houston Center will re-open on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. “All of our employees are safe and we appreciate the outpouring of concern and support from our clients, friends, and colleagues.” said Managing Partner, Charles P. Adams, Jr. “Fortunately, our Houston office sustained no significant damage from Hurricane Ike.”

Adams and Reese’s regional footprint allowed for uninterrupted service and continuous operation.

According to Adams, “The firm’s regional footprint allows Adams and Reese to continue operations virtually uninterrupted following events such as Hurricane Ike. While it is not the reason we have a presence in multiple markets throughout the South Central United States, our regional structure has allowed us to continue to serve our clients from any of our other offices through our extensive communications network.”

Disaster preparedness is not new to the firm.

Adams says, “The firm implemented its solid and proven preparedness plan with success. Adams and Reese has always had a disaster preparedness plan in place. Like many businesses, we identified new contingencies and greater need after 9-11 that caused us to rethink our approach. The effectiveness of our planning was proven in 2005 with Hurricanes Katrina and Rita and once again with Hurricanes Gustav and Ike. Our plan is all encompassing and covers communications, technology, security, and human resources.”

The firm’s Houston office re-opens quickly.

Chris Derden, Partner in Charge of the Houston office stated, “We are deeply saddened by the destruction left in the wake of Hurricane Ike and our hearts go out to everyone affected throughout the region. We are fortunate our office at One Houston Center was spared and we are doing everything possible to assist our employees and our many clients and friends during this difficult time.”

Derden adds, “While we have, to a limited extent, suffered similar personal setbacks as many of our clients, our team of attorneys and staff are prepared to serve our community, clients, and new clients as we have done traditionally, or in addressing new needs that none of us would have ever imagined.”

Adams and Reese is fully operational and ready to provide our traditional legal services, in business recovery or any recovery issues that you may be facing. For additional information or for immediate assistance, please call 1.800.725.1990 or visit our website www.adamsandreese.com
