ATLANTA (October 9) – Kilpatrick Stockton today announced that the jury in the high-profile case of Verizon v Cox Communications, Docket no 1:08-cv-157, returned a verdict in favor of defendant Cox Communications. Verizon had contended that Cox Communications’ Digital Telephone Service violated six patents concerning voice- over Internet telephone service and sought over $400 million in damages.
