Skadden is representing Express Scripts, Inc. in its $4.675 billion acquisition of WellPoint, Inc.’s NextRx subsidiaries. The two companies announced on April 13 they had reached an agreement on the transaction.
Express Scripts is one of the largest pharmacy benefits management companies in North America, and WellPoint NextRx subsidiaries provide pharmacy benefits management services to approximately 25 million Americans.
