Western Canadian Coal Corporation, which is also listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange Venture Exchange, owns a portfolio of coal mines in British Columbia, Canada with more than 250 million tonnes of coal under exploration and development.
Norton Rose also advised Williams de Broë on the associated fundraising of approximately C$15.3 million (before expenses) through the placing of 8,742,857 common shares at C$1.75 per share.
Corporate finance partner Ian Fox assisted by associate Claire O’Donnell advised Williams de Broë having previously advised Williams de Broë on fundraisings by Western Canadian’s parent company, Cambrian Mining plc.
