Neal L. Wolf, currently a partner in LeBoeuf Lamb’s San Francisco and Los Angeles offices, will be the head of the Firm’s Chicago office. Before relocating to California in 1999, Mr. Wolf, a member of the Illinois Bar, practiced law in Chicago for more than 15 years with Winston & Strawn and Schwartz, Cooper, Greenberger & Krauss.
LeBoeuf Lamb also announced that Michael H. King, previously a senior partner in McGuire Woods LLP’s Commercial Litigation Department, will join the Firm’s Chicago office as a partner. In addition, three other McGuire Woods lawyers – Keith P. Schoeneberger, Elizabeth M. Bradshaw and Spencer R. Wood – will join LeBoeuf Lamb in Chicago.

Mr. Wolf has focused his practice in the areas of bankruptcy, business reorganizations, workouts, and commercial litigation. In the bankruptcy and insolvency arena, Mr. Wolf, who is a Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, has represented debtors, committees, secured and unsecured creditors, and purchasers in complex Chapter 11 cases. His commercial litigation experience has included the successful trial and arbitration of cases involving the Uniform Commercial Code, lender liability, fraudulent conveyance, partnership, securities, business tort and contract issues. These cases have resulted in a number of reported decisions from the United States District Court and United States Court of Appeals.
Mr. King has represented both corporate and individual clients in matters concerning major antitrust, OSHA, and criminal investigations, as well as related civil litigation. He has represented Fortune 100 companies faced with FBI, Department of Defense and EPA raids, seizures and investigations. Mr. King also has substantial intellectual property trial experience, including several patent infringement jury trials in various parts of the country. He began his career as a special attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice’s Organized Crime and Racketeering Section, and later served as assistant U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Illinois. Mr. King served more than five years with the Department of Justice.
Mr. Schoeneberger specializes in commercial and intellectual property litigation, including matters involving patents and trademarks. Ms. Bradshaw practices in commercial, intellectual property and products liability litigation. Mr. Wood specializes in intellectual property disputes.
