Miami, FL, February 2, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Baker & McKenzie LLP announced today that Pilar Bosch has joined the Firm’s North American Banking, Finance and Major Projects Group as a Partner in its Miami office. A real estate lawyer with extensive expertise and industry recognition in commercial real estate, Bosch joins Baker & McKenzie LLP from Office Depot, Inc.
Bosch’s real estate experience spans more than 20 years, including eight years with major law firms and 12 years as Vice President and head of the Legal Department/Real Estate for Office Depot, Inc., a Fortune 500 Company. Her practice focus is primarily transactional, with an emphasis in general contract and commercial real estate. Bosch’s in-house and law firm experience in real estate law includes acquisitions, leasing, dispositions, environmental, real estate based finance and preparation and negotiation of all related documentation.

Bosch received her B.A. in Political Science and Spanish Literature from Rutgers University in 1976, and has a Master of Arts in Law and Diplomacy from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University (1978) with an emphasis in International Business, International Development Studies and Law and Economics. Bosch subsequently attended Boston College Law School, where she earned her J.D. with honors in 1981. She practiced at Gaston & Snow and Rubin & Rudman before joining Office Depot, Inc. in 1991.
