22 March 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Cravath represented IBM in its acquisition of Ascential Software Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise data integration software, for approximately $1.1 billion.
The partners involved in this matter were Scott A. Barshay on corporate issues, Stephen L. Gordon on tax issues and Patricia Geoghegan on employee benefits issues. The deal was announced on March 14, 2005.
