NEW YORK, April 18, 2005 – Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel LLP announced today that it has relocated its midtown Manhattan offices to 1177 Avenue of the Americas, between 45th and 46th Streets. All phone and fax numbers for the New York office’s lawyers and staff remain unchanged. The move comes as scheduled – 14 months after the law firm initially announced plans for relocation. In conjunction with the move, the firm has also redesigned and launched a new web site at www.kramerlevin.com.
The new, 283,000 square foot Kramer Levin headquarters features a client conference center, equipped with technology for multimedia presentations as well as audio and video conferencing, an auditorium for larger client and in-house functions, an attorney lounge, a dedicated employee training room and a café. State-of-the-art technology has been implemented across the environment including a new network and telephone system, as well as new desktops and file servers.
“The move to our new, state-of-the-art offices was seamless,” said Kramer Levin Managing Partner Paul Pearlman. “We are excited to have our entire New York staff under one roof, and the move to and build-out of the new space reflects our plans for expansion over the coming years.”
Over the past few years, the firm – which has experienced significant growth – had been operating from two locations: 919 Third Avenue, where it occupied 180,000 square feet, and 909 Third Avenue, where it leased an additional 20,000 square feet.
