HOUSTON, May 3, 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Baker Botts was named “Global Oil & Gas Law Firm of the Year 2005” in Who’s Who Legal: The International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers annual survey, and the firm’s David Asmus was selected “Oil and Gas Lawyer of the Year.”
Asmus is based in Baker Botts’ Houston office and is the firmwide chair of its oil and gas practice. George Goolsby, who is based in the firm’s Houston and Moscow offices and is Partner In Charge of the firm’s CIS practice, joined Asmus on the list of most highly nominated oil and gas lawyers in the world.
