30 May 2005, Houston – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – William S. Moss III has joined Mayer, Brown, Rowe & Maw LLP’s Houston corporate practice as a partner. Previously, he was an attorney with Baker Botts L.L.P.
Mr. Moss represents clients in securities and mergers and acquisition transactions. Mr. Moss was the lead attorney for an oil and gas services company in its $128 million divesture of assets located in 22 countries. He has also advised companies in initial public offerings and various public equity and debt offerings.

Mr. Moss previously was a law clerk to the Hon. Royal Furgeson, U.S. District Court for the Western District of Texas. He received his law degree from The University of Texas School of Law in 1996 where he graduated with honors and was a member of the Texas Law Review. He also holds a Master of Philosophy from Cambridge University and a B.A. in History from Dartmouth College where he graduated cum laude.
