A prominent attorney in bankruptcy, reorganization and business planning law, Massad will work in Winstead’s Business Restructuring/Bankruptcy Practice Group. Massad was previously a partner at Hunton & Williams LLP.

With in-depth experience representing debtors and creditors, Massad’s clients include creditors’ committees, trustees, individual creditors, and restructuring entities. He also advises clients concerning selling and purchasing assets and companies, both in and out of the bankruptcy process. Massad has experience in transactions across many industries, including real estate, health care, and technology, and he has served as an advisor to many business clients, guiding them through all aspects of reorganization issues.
Active in the community, Massad serves on the board of directors for the Southwest Transplant Foundation, the Salesmanship Club Youth and Family Centers, Inc., and the Vestry of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Turnaround Management Association, the Dallas Bankruptcy Bar, and he is Master of the John C. Ford Bankruptcy Inn of Court. Massad is admitted to practice in the Fifth and Sixth Circuits, U.S. Courts of Appeal, and all United States District Court and State Courts in Texas. He received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law.
