Toronto, Canada -GAO RFID Inc. (www.GAORFID.com) has launched its compact active RFID tag. It is a small form factor tag that provides a long read range with low power consumption and is ideally suited for use in asset tracking and monitoring, inventory control and warehousing.
This compact active RFID tag, model 127007, operates at an optional data transmit frequency of 916MHz, 927MHz or 868MHz and a receive frequency of 433MHz.The transmission range of this tag is up to 45m and the receiving range is up to 30m. It utilizes anti-collision algorithms and provides simultaneous multiple tag read capability. This active RFID tag is available with several options including operating frequency, bracket for tamper protection, LED, buzzer, and memory size. In addition, it is powered by 3V Lithium-ion replaceable watch battery and is housed in ABS packet for protection from harsh environment.
