10 January – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – Linklaters has strengthened its banking and finance practice in Central & Eastern Europe with the appointment of senior finance lawyer, Robert David.
Robert joins Linklaters from Allen & Overy in Prague, where he has worked for the past five years. Between 1995 and 2000 he worked for Clifford Chance in Prague and London.
Robert, who qualified as a Czech advocate on 1 January 1999, has extensive experience in all types of banking and capital market transactions, both domestic and cross-border. He has substantial expertise in advising arrangers, facility agents, security agents, lenders, borrowers, co-obligors, guarantors and security providers in connection with syndicated and bilateral loans. In addition to general corporate finance, Robert has been particularly active in the area of acquisition, project, property and asset finance. With respect to capital markets, he has advised both issuers and managers in connection with offers, sales and listings of debt, structured and equity securities.
