Salem, Oregon (February 24, 2006) – InfoFirst LLC today announced it has acquired Washington, DC-based Litigation Research Associates, Inc . The agreement enables InfoFirst to better serve the needs of a national clientele by establishing operations bases on both coasts, and the two companies’ complementary service offerings will expand the range of services available to clients. Operational synergies are also expected to reduce turnaround times and increase profitability.
The team is headed by InfoFirst’s Donna Cavallini and Beth Maser of Litigation Research Associates. The team has several decades of combined experience in the information services industry, with a primary focus on the legal sector. The acquisition leverages Maser’s extensive experience and expertise in historical research and archival information retrieval, and Cavallini’s core strengths in business and legal research techniques, database searching, and innovative use of non-traditional information sources.
