19 July 2006 – LAWFUEL – Press Release Service – International law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised sole global co-ordinator, bookrunner, nominated adviser, financial adviser and broker JPMorgan Cazenove on the AIM IPO of Nikanor, the holding company of a group with copper and cobalt assets in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The new shares offered amounted to 26.4 per cent of the company, and including shares issued under the greenshoe the offer could raise up to $440m. The entry market cap of more than $1.5bn at the offer price makes Nikanor the largest company ever floated on AIM.
