CHICAGO, Illinois – February 17, 2014 – The law firm of Arnstein & Lehr LLP is proud to announce that Susan Thompson has joined the firm as director of human resources.
Susan has extensive experience in the law firm sector with various firms for more than 20 years. She is recognized for providing strategic counsel to professional service firms across the country and for implementing best practices across all areas of human resources departments. Susan has experience in restructuring workforce programs, performance management and evaluation programs, professional development programs and analysis of workflow for support functions. In conjunction with performance management programs, Susan has restructured compensation and benefit programs to reward, and retain, high performers.
In additional to her evaluation of workforce programs, Susan is also a thought leader for online learning classes in leadership and employee development, including: diversity, sexual harassment, conflict management, recruiting, hiring and employee relations.
Immediately prior to joining Arnstein & Lehr, Susan served as a talent management consultant with The 2000 Group, Inc.
Susan earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin.
