ATLANTA (August 10) — Kilpatrick Stockton announced today that Theodore (Ted) C. Edwards II, a Partner in the firm’s Litigation Department, was selected to serve on The UNC Chapel Hill Historically Underutilized Businesses (HUB) Advisory Committee. Mr. Edwards was selected as a member of the elite volunteer committee based upon his attentiveness to diversity issues as well as his reputation and expertise in his field.

The mission of the HUB Advisory Committee is to provide advice and counsel in support of the University’s diversity initiative. The 2006-2007 Committee’s bi-monthly meetings will strive to develop the best practices and enhanced strategies to promote and ensure increased participation of the Historically Underutilized Businesses in the University’s design and construction program.

This year’s advisory committee is composed of individuals representing a broad spectrum of regional business, industry and support organizations. Members serve a one-year term, with the option of continuing their service at the end of the term.
