Why Is This Attorney Suing All the Supreme Court Justices?

Why is Austin Burdick, an Alabama family law attorney, suing each of the five Supreme Court justices who favor same sex marriage?

Do we need to ask?

It’s because Mr Burdick, a Republican and Mormon lawyer, is anti gay marriage and he’s claiming in his suit that he has suffered – to the tune of – oh, say $6 million – as a result of “damages and harm” caused to him by an alleged violation of the 5th and 14th Amendments.

Burdick’s lawsuit claims the ruling in Obergefell nullifies the Constitution, thus depriving him of a lifetime of income he would have received from practicing law, which he apparently can no longer do since the justices have “destroyed” the Constitution, upon which his license to practice law is based.

He says the Court’s ruling rewrites the 14th Amendment and that it is “government intrusion” and “dishonest.”

“It is a tyrannical usurpation of authority to rewrite the Constitution,” Burdick charges.
