Australian Law Firm Lander & Rogers secures leading M&A team

Lander & Rogers has announced the recruitment of a team of leading M&A and equity capital markets lawyers into its Sydney corporate practice. Joining the firm from KPMG Law, the team is led by David Morris who founded the commercial law practice of KPMG Law. Mr Morris was also the head of its M&A and corporate practice, joint leader of KPMG's global legal services M&A and corporate group, and a member of KPMG's global legal services leadership team. Mr Morris will lead Lander & Rogers' Sydney corporate team, bringing decades of experience in building successful, client-centric corporate practices. Mr Morris will also play an integral role in implementing the firm's aggressive growth plans for its Sydney office. Joining Mr Morris in his move to Lander & Rogers are senior corporate lawyers Paul Mayson , a highly experienced public and private M&A specialist; David Tink , who has extensive equity capital markets and corporate advisory experience in both Australia and the UK; and Bree Taylor , who practises in both M&A and equity capital markets. Mr Morris and his team have acted on a number of significant recent transactions including the cross listing of AVITA Medical on ASX and NASDAQ; the sale of ASX-listed Redflex Holdings by scheme of arrangement; the listing of Clarity Pharmaceuticals on ASX, which is understood to be the largest ever clinical stage IPO on ASX; and the sale of the ONCALL Group to private equity funds managed by Pemba Capital Partners.
