Baker & McKenzie Australia has walked away with three awards from the annual Australian Law Awards held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney last Thursday night.

The event, attended by over 450 members of the legal fraternity was a stellar occasion for Baker & McKenzie with the firm taking out the awards for Employer of Choice, Environment and Community Service.

According to Baker & McKenzie’s Australian Managing Partner, David Nathan, Baker & McKenzie has been focused on ensuring the market in Australia understands the qualities of the firm as a place to work and as a leader in emerging areas of practice and these awards are a tribute to that.

“Over the last 12 months we have been telling the Australian market that we are the firm to watch. These awards go some way towards recognising that reality.”

“The employer of choice award reflects on our positive firm culture and spirit, the community service award on the commitment of all members of staff to our local communities and the environment award recognises the work we have invested in a new area of the law for over ten years, both in Australia and around the world.

We are extremely pleased to have received these awards and be recognised by the Australian legal industry at such a prestigious event.”
