Attorney Announcements – Greenberg Traurig Honored at Center of Hope’s (Haiti) Fourth Annual Gala

New York, NY, November 4, 2009 - LawFuel Attorney Announcement Service - Center of Hope (Haiti) (COHH) is honoring the international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP with its Hope Award for the firm's continuing support of its mission to construct and operate an orphanage in Hinche, Haiti. COHH will present the Hope Award to Greenberg Traurig at its Fourth Annual Gala on November 4, 2009, in New York City. The gala serves as a primary source of funds for the project. Since 2005, a team of Greenberg Traurig attorneys led by New York shareholder Daniel J. Ansell, Chair of the firm’s Real Estate Operations Group, has assisted COHH with legal issues related to the creation and operation of the orphanage. Initially, Greenberg Traurig’s efforts consisted of establishing a non-governmental organization in Haiti, preparing tax filings and handling other related legal work. COHH, through a volunteer board of directors and officers, coordinates resources, including volunteer services and contributions, in support of the orphanage.
