The Converging Technologies Bar Association (CTBA), the first bar association in the world that addresses the legal, policy, regulatory and societal impact of converging technologies in the 21st century, today announced the appointment of several new advisory board members and a new honorary member. The CTBA announced that Jonathan L. Bing, assembly member for the 73rd District in Manhattan, has been named an honorary member. Mr. Bing joins honorary member Phillip J. Bond, undersecretary for technology at the U.S. Department of Commerce. The CTBA's honorary chair is Mihail C. Roco, senior advisor, nanotechnology, at the National Science Foundation.
