Travis Henry and James Mack Appear in Federal Court This Morning

(LAWFUEL) - Travis Henry and James Mack appeared in U.S. District Court in Denver this morning. They both appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kristen L. Mix. The purpose of today’s hearing was to determine each defendant’s status as it pertains to their bonds. Henry put up a house as collateral – which resulted in his posting a $360,000 secured bond. Henry was allowed to post the remaining $40,000 as an unsecured bond. Pre-trial services is in the process of putting a phone line in Henry’s house for electronic monitoring. Henry could be released as early as tomorrow. Mack was allowed to put up a $10,000 unsecured bond. Pre-trial services also needs to install a phone line for electronic monitoring in Mack’s house. Mack will likely be released early next week. All future court appearances will take place in the District of Montana. For questions regarding the prosecution please contact Jessica Fehr at 406-247-4637. ####################### PREVIOUS UPDATE – October 6, 2008 UPDATE regarding criminal cocaine case against Travis Henry and James Mack: Travis Henry and James Mack appeared in U.S. District Court in Denver this afternoon before U.S. Magistrate Judge Kristen L. Mix. The United States Attorney’s Office, District of Colorado, dismissed the Criminal Complaint as to both defendants because they have been charged by Indictment in the District of Montana. During today’s hearing, Henry and Mack were advised of the new charges pending against them in Montana. They waived their right to an identity and removal hearing. Magistrate Judge Mix ordered that Henry could be released on a $400,000 fully secured bond. Mack was ordered released on a $10,000 unsecured bond. If and when the defendants bond out, both Henry and Mack were ordered to submit to electronic monitoring as well as home detention.
