CHICAGO-The law firm of Goldberg Kohn Bell Black Rosenbloom & Moritz, Ltd. recently announced the promotion of Michael C. Hainen and Adam M. Laser to Principal.

Michael Hainen is in the firm’s Commercial Finance Group. His practice focuses on representing financial institutions in the documentation, negotiation and closing of a wide range of loan transactions. His work has included single and multi-bank asset-based and cash-flow loans, workouts and restructurings of distressed debt, leveraged buyouts, mezzanine financings, and cross-border finance transactions. Hainen is admitted to practice in Illinois. He received his law degree in 1997 from Vanderbilt University, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and an articles editor for the Vanderbilt Law Review. He received his undergraduate degree, cum laude, in 1994 from Middlebury College.

Adam Laser is in the firm’s Real Estate Group. He represents clients in all manner of real estate transactions, including acquisition and disposition of commercial, residential and industrial property; mortgage and mezzanine financing; workouts and restructurings; and lease negotiations. In addition, Laser is experienced in real estate transactions as they relate to hotel financings, assisted living facilities, independent care facilities, skilled nursing facilities and medical office buildings. Laser received his law degree in 1997 and his B.A. in political science in 1991 from Northwestern University. He is admitted to practice in Illinois.
