DALLAS, April 6 2005 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network — Haynes and Boone, LLP, an international corporate law firm, announced Monday it has opened a new office
in Moscow, answering a call from long-term client demand.

Haynes and Boone partner Doug Stinemetz and associate Daria Nosova will
launch the Moscow office, which will have a primary focus on the oil and
oilfield services industry, but also provide legal services to many other
industries. The office is located at Bolshoy Gnezdnikovsky per. 1, bldg. 2,
7th floor, 125009 Moscow, Russia.

“The decision to found the office stems from client demand for services
there,” said Stinemetz, who has split his time between Moscow and Houston in
recent years. “We expect to expand the office as demand for our legal
services increases.”

Stinemetz helped pioneer negotiations for new ventures in the former
Soviet Union, including ventures in Russia, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia
and Turkmenistan. He has worked in recent years on many corporate
acquisitions, numerous oil exploration ventures and several startup operations
in the region. He has been active in transactions in the former Soviet Union
since 1989.

Nosova has worked extensively in the Ukraine and other parts of the former
Soviet Union. A Russian and Ukrainian attorney, she was formerly an in-house
counsel for a prominent Ukrainian airline. Her practice is primarily oil and
aviation related.

“Expanding to Moscow presents a great opportunity for the firm to build on
current relationships and our extensive experience there,” said Robert Wilson,
managing partner of Haynes and Boone. “Russia’s rise as an energy and
economic power is full of potential.”

Haynes and Boone, LLP is an international law firm with 10 offices
throughout Texas, Washington, D.C., Mexico City, Moscow and New York,
providing a full spectrum of legal services to clients around the world. With
more than 450 attorneys, Haynes and Boone is ranked among the largest law
firms in the nation by National Law Journal. The firm has been recognized as
one of the “20 Best Law Firms to Work For” (Vault.com, 2004), one of the “Best
Corporate Law Firms in America” (Corporate Board Member Magazine, 2001-2004)
and recipient of the Minority Corporate Counsel Association’s 2002 Thomas L.
