FinanceAsia has named Davis Polk “Best Law Firm” as part of its 2018 Achievement Awards. The awards recognize the most impressive deals across Asia from the past year and the organizations that make them happen.
Davis Polk was also recognized in the capital markets space, receiving “Best Investment Grade Bond” for our involvement in ChemChina’s $6.4 billion equivalent six-tranche bond, and “Best Equity Deal” for our role in Naspers’ $9.8 billion disposal of a 2% stake in Tencent.
In the M&A space, Davis Polk was honored in connection with its role advising Advanced Semiconductor Engineering on its merger with Silicon Precision Industries, awarded “Best Taiwan Deal.”
The awards will be presented at FinanceAsia‘s awards dinner in early 2019.
