DETROIT, May 10 – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network — Denise Ilitch will be of counsel to Clark Hill PLC as an adviser in the firm’s diverse business matters effective immediately. Ilitch will provide counsel in all areas of business development and will help integrate corporate, government and public sectors for relevant industry-focused legal solutions.

This is a forward moving strategy for both. Ilitch will put to work her 30-plus years of diverse business experience assisting Clark Hill in its development of unique business solutions to complex business problems. Over the last year, Clark Hill has focused on diversifying their brand while maintaining value added service.

Ilitch is president of Ilitch Enterprises, a privately held business with a focus on and investment in entrepreneurial ventures throughout the United States. Prior to that, she was president of Ilitch Holdings, the company that oversees the management and operations of Little Caesar Enterprises, the Detroit Red Wings, the Detroit Tigers, Olympia Entertainment, and several other companies. She was also part of the team that joined prominent business leaders and government entities to create the vibrant entertainment and sports district in the heart of downtown Detroit.

Ilitch earned her B.A. from the University of Michigan, and her J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy.
