According to reports by Panorama City car accident lawyers, a Panorama City accident occurred in the vicinity of Van Nuys in which speed was a factor in the drivers death.
According to police a man in his 20’s was speeding at approximately 100 miles per hour on Parthenia at approximately 1:00 a.m. when he failed to stop for a red light and struck another vehicle causing him to lose control of the vehicle he was driving. The vehicle then struck a palm tree, which was in the center median in the vicinity of Van Nuys Boulevard near Parthenia.
The man whose identity has not been released was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. According to police there was no evidence the man was involved in street racing and no one else was injured in the crash.
The crash closed Van Nuys Boulevard until approximately 6:00 a.m. while the accident was investigated and the debris and vehicle were cleared from the scene of the crash in the vicinity of Van Nuys and Parthenia.
