Dunedin Stadium Gets Approval From Rugby World Cup 2011 Boss Snedden

RugbyWorldCup2011NZ reports that the Dunedin stadium to be used as one of the main venues for next year’s rugby world cup, has received a compliment and vote of confidence from the Rugby World Cup 2011 boss, Martin Snedden.

The Dunedin stadium, the Forsyth Barr stadium, was the subject of considerable controversy in Dunedin because of its price tag and also the time frame by which it needed to be completed if it was going to be ready to host next year’s games for the Rugby World Cup.

But the progress on the state-of-the-art stadium has been rapid and the completion appears to be completely in line with projections, leaving a lot of rugby fans and Dunedin people exited about the prospects for their hosting the games in the smart new stadium.
