Frost Brown Todd Bolsters Commercial Litigation Practice with Addition of Partner Simon Levy

Frost Brown Todd (FBT) has added commercial litigator Simon Levy as a Partner in the firm’s Business & Commercial Litigation practice in San Francisco.

Levy is a trial lawyer whose practice focuses on civil litigation matters related to securities, employment, and general business litigation. In his securities practice, he represents broker-dealer firms and other licensed individuals in the securities industry, having personally handled dozens of successful securities arbitrations. Levy has defended a wide variety of cases involving claims of suitability, churning, fraud, negligence, violation of federal and state securities laws, breach of contract, elder abuse, and breach of fiduciary duty.

Levy’s practice also includes defending employers in state and federal courts, arbitration, and administrative proceedings involving claims for discrimination, wrongful termination, retaliation, harassment, breach of contract, defamation, indemnification, whistleblower, and various wage and hour and unfair competition claims, including class action, collective action, and representative claims, such as those under the California Private Attorney General Act (PAGA). He has extensive experience advising employers on compliance with employment laws, rules and regulations, including wage and hour laws, and issues involving employee hiring and discipline.

Levy earned his bachelor’s degree from New York University and his Juris Doctor, cum laude, from University of San Francisco School of Law. He served as an Articles Editor on the USF Law Review Executive Board and was also a member of USF’s National Moot Court Competition team.
