Glasgow – LAWFUEL – The Law News Network – DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary (“DLA Piper”) was named Law Firm of the Year (over 50 fee earners) at the Law Awards of Scotland held at a ceremony at Glasgow Moat House Hotel on the 1 September.

David Thomson, a partner in the Real Estate practice was also recognised, achieving highly commended in the Corporate Solicitor of category.

The Law Awards of Scotland, supported by The Firm magazine, celebrate success and innovation across the legal profession.

Since DLA Piper entered the Scottish legal arena five years ago, it has surpassed all our objectives for that period boosting fee income from £5.2 million in 2000 to £15.1million in 2005, a 190% increase. Fee earner numbers have grown from 48 in 2000 to 120 in 2005 – a 250% increase.
