Global top 20 law firm Reed Smith
LLP has added Ajay Raju as a partner in its Philadelphia office
effective immediately. He joins the firm’s growing real estate practice
group, with a practice emphasis on real estate acquisition and
development.

Mr. Raju was named one of American Lawyer Media’s “30 Under 40”,
increasing the Philadelphia office total of young attorneys recognized
for this prestigious honor to three. Partner Tracy Z. Frisch, an IP
attorney, and associate Kevin M. Toth, a commercial litigation
specialist, earned similar recognition in 2003.

A 1996 cum laude graduate of Temple University School of Law, Mr. Raju
is the founder, CEO and Chairman of the Global Indian Chamber of
Commerce. In addition to recognition from American Lawyer Media, he was
named to India Media Council’s “40 Under 40 People to watch in the
2000s” and to Realcomm’s “Top 30 People to Watch in 2004.”
Mr. Raju is a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association and serves on
its Cyberspace and E-Commerce Committee. He is also national chair of
Realcomm’s Legal and Regulatory Affairs Committee.
