Growing Wynn Williams Appoints New Managing Partner

Ash Hill new Managing Partner at Wynn Williams

Wynn Williams, with offices in Christchurch, Queenstown and Auckland has appointed M&A lawyer Ash Hill as Managing Partner from April 2023.

Hill succeeds Philip Maw who has had the role for four years.

Hill is a Partner in the Corporate Advisory & Transactions team. He joined Wynn Williams in 2014 and was instrumental in establishing the Firm’s Auckland office. He has been a member of the Firm’s Board for three years, and a member of the Executive Committee for the last two.

Maw will remain as a Partner at the Firm and a senior member of the Environment & Planning and Local Government team. He will also continue to sit on the Board.

On stepping into the role of Managing Partner, Hill says he’s looking forward to this next step in his career and is excited about leading the Firm into its next chapter.
