R. Doak Bishop has nearly 30 years’ experience in international arbitration and the litigation of disputes in the oil, gas, energy, construction and environmental sectors. He is vice chairman of the Institute of Transnational Arbitration and is a U.S. delegate to the NAFTA Advisory Committee on Private Commercial Disputes.

José L. Valera focuses his practice on oil and gas exploration projects and production projects. He has helped major and independent oil companies negotiate and draft operations, production-sharing and license agreements throughout Latin America. He has advised the governments of Argentina, Bolivia and Peru on contractual and regulatory matters.

Craig S. Miles handles international arbitration disputes. He has represented global energy companies against foreign governments before the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and private parties before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and other international arbitral institutions.

Roberto J. Aguirre Luzi concentrates his practice on international arbitration, with an emphasis on international public law. He counsels multinational corporations on complex arbitration before the International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and UNCITRAL, as well as commercial arbitrations under the AAA and ICC rules.
