James K. Lee Joins K&L Los Angeles as Partner in Litigation Group

Los Angeles, CA–The Los Angeles office of Kirkpatrick & Lockhart LLP (K&L) is pleased to announce the arrival of partner James K. Lee to its business litigation practice.

Lee is a litigator who has represented numerous Korean companies in complex business disputes involving industries such as electronics, semiconductors, automotive, heavy industries, and telecommunications. He also has extensive experience counseling senior management of Korean companies doing business in the United States on general business and transactional matters. He comes to K&L from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer Feld LLP, where he was a partner in the litigation and Korea practice groups. Prior to Akin, Lee was an associate at K&L’s predecessor firm in Los Angeles, Freshman, Marantz, Orlanski, Cooper and Klein.
