Junior Lawyer or Qualified Law Graduate – 1-2 Years PQE – Takapuna

Turner Hopkins is looking for an enthusiastic Junior Lawyer with approximately 1–2 years’ PQE, or a qualified law graduate, to join our busy and supportive Civil Litigation Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the beginning of their legal career who is keen to develop strong litigation skills and gain hands-on experience across a varied range of civil matters.

Key responsibilities

• Work across a broad range of disputes, including bankruptcy, insolvency, liquidations, debt recovery and civil litigation matters
• Develop litigation skills through hands-on experience
• Work as part of the Civil Litigation Team on varied civil matters

About you

• Approximately 1–2 years’ PQE, or has completed their law degree and is looking to begin their legal career
• Some exposure to, or a strong interest in, civil litigation
• Confident, organised and has strong written and verbal communication skills
• Enjoys working as part of a team and is comfortable dealing with clients
• Positive attitude and keen to learn and develop
• Can manage competing priorities while maintaining good attention to detail
