Jones Day Partner to Lead Perth Law Office

15 January 2019The global law firm Jones Day announces that Adam Salter, a partner in the Firm’s Labor & Employment Practice will serve as Partner-in-Charge of the Firm’s Perth Office effective January 1, 2019.


Jones Day’s Perth Office works with the Firm’s practices and offices throughout the world to ensure that every client is advised and counseled by the lawyers best suited to a particular matter, transaction, or representation. Lawyers in the Perth Office have notably deep experience working with Australian and multinational clients in the projects and energy sector in Western Australia, with a particular strength in litigation and dispute resolution.

Mr. Salter has 20 years of cross-border experience advising clients regarding labor & employment issues, including the drafting of Australian employment contracts and policies providing guidance on executive hiring and dismissal, industrial instruments, termination of employment, redundancy programs, and drafting and enforcing post-employment restraints.

In addition to his labor and employment experience, Mr. Salter has more than a decade of experience advising clients on Australian and cross-border M&A, outsourcing, and cybersecurity issues. His client work has been recognized by Chambers Asia-Pacific – Employment, Asia Pacific Legal 500 – Employment, and The Legal 500 – Australian Corporate and M&A.
