June 21, 2004 – LAWFUEL – Clifford Chance, the global law firm, is pleased to announce that François Bonteil will be joining its Paris office as a partner in its successful Real Estate group. M. Bonteil specialises in all areas of real estate work (acquisitions, financing, restructurings and joint ventures). His client base includes French and international investments banks, financial institutions and real estate investors.

François Bonteil, 41, holds a Master’s degree in North American and English Business law from Paris I Sorbonne and a Master of Comparative Jurisprudence at the University of New York. He is admitted at the Paris Bar and the New York Bar. He began his career in 1991 at Jones Day in New York and moved to Jones day in Paris in 1994.

The Paris office of Clifford Chance founded its real estate practice in 1962. The team now comprises 18 lawyers, including 1 partner, Ronald Austin, and 2 counsel, Jean-Louis Martin and Anne-Sophie Plé.
