Lawfuel.com – The Kanye West sex tape with video and screenshots is not for public release, according to a statement from his lawyer, Lisa M Buckley. In fact, the tapes were stolen, she said.
Kanye West found himself making media headlines for the leak of the sex tape showing himself alongside an 18 year old, married, Kim Kardashian look alike. Reports indicate that the tape was being shown around media outlets with a view to having it sold, but Kayne West’s lawyers are warning anyone off using or buying them.
“Be advised that the Screen Shot, as well as the Tape from which the Screen Shot was taken, were illegally obtained and believed to have been stolen from Mr. West’s computer,” Kanye West’s lawyer Lisa M. Buckley stated.
The statement also went on to say, “Your posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and otherwise disseminating the stolen Screen Shot and/or other materials on the Tape constitute actionable violations of Mr. West’s rights of privacy and publicity,” closing out with, “We hereby demand that you: (1) immediately cease and desist from posting, advertising, marketing, displaying and disseminating the illegally obtained Screen Shot of Mr. West.”
