Kilpatrick Stockton LLP has formed a furniture group at its Winston-Salem office to provide legal and logistical assistance to the industry. Richard Keshian was named the group’s director saying, “The furniture industry is changing at a rapid pace, especially concerning issues that have significant long-term impact such as imports, intellectual property and labor. We not only have local expertise on furniture-related issues, but we also have relationships with firms in China and other countries that can provide immediate access to legal representation there.”
Kilpatrick Stockton will provide assistance on issues such as imports, intellectual property, the environment, occupational safety and health, labor and employment laws, and antitrust and trade regulations. More than 15 lawyers are involved in the furniture group, including 10 from the Winston-Salem office.
